This week the team is taking a break from our regular book review Tuesday so we can all catch up on our To Be Read piles. So for the next few weeks, we'll present books from the banned list. The ALA Office for intellectual Freedoms records attempts to remove these books from circulating through libraries, schools and universities due to their content. So why not read them to find out why?

So here's this week's top 10 banned book picks:
1984 - Goerge Orwell
To Kill A Mocking Bird - Harper Lee
Lolita - Vladimir Nabokou
A Farewell to Arms - Ernest Hemmingway
Gone with the Wind- Margret Mitchell
Animal Farm - Goerge Orwell
Slaughterhouse 5 - Kurt Vonnegut
The call of the wind - Jack Land
The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R.Tolkien
