Welcome to another Showcase Wednesday. This week we're showcasing our favourite Christmas decorations. We love all holidays here at The Grownish Writer. However, this post is based on what holiday most of the staff celebrates, and as the office diversifies more, we will add even more holidays to the ever-expanding list. So for now, we present our favourite Christmas Decor!

Top 5 Decorations for Christmas:

  1. The Christmas Stocking: a family tradition for most, they hang above the fire and hold tons of candy and small treats on Christmas morning. Christmas stockings are probably the best and simplest thing you can hang up to make it feel more like Christmas in your home. Our favourites beings these adorable Harry Potter Stockings found on Amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/Harry-Potter-Gryffindor-Crest-Stocking/dp/B07DGTDPJ2/ref=asc_df_B07DGTDPJ2/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=478262214125&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11274853571308327258&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000087&hvtargid=pla-574119306180&psc=1

  2. Christmas Tree Ornaments: adorable baubles that hang from your Christmas tree's branches. They are lovely and a delight to see. Our Editor Alecia explained that her family has unique ornaments that have her and her siblings' first Christmases on them. Either way, we found some cute Christmas baubles on Etsy to share with all of you. https://www.etsy.com/ca/search?q=christmas+ornaments+book+lovers&ref=auto-1

  3. The Christmas wreath: from homemade to store-bought. These lovely circles of branches give a unique and fresh feel to your Christmas decor that everyone loves to see; they come in all different sizes and are even a fun DIY project. Here is one of our favourites from Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1127652931/christmas-wreath?click_key=ef56e45d693dbe60912a2c925487460cbb784637%3A1127652931&click_sum=8cc710af&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=christmas+wreath&ref=sr_gallery-1-42&organic_search_click=1

  4. Christmas cardholders: if you are anything like our families, you receive tons of Christmas cards every year, and you always end up needing a place to display them to show them off to everyone that enters your home. So why not get a unique Christmas card holder that Amazon has tons of them in stock but might we suggest the one linked below. https://www.amazon.ca/Umbra-Crowd-Photo-Display-Black/dp/B01HU2S0ZC/ref=sr_1_8?crid=28JYP9P3YHNCY&keywords=christmas+card+holder+display&qid=1638970726&sprefix=christmas+card+h%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-8

  5. The Christmas Tree: An essential Christmas decoration to have. Where else would you put all those presents or leave a ton of books beneath to make it look like you didn't spend all your Christmas money on books and that they were just given to you? If you can't have a real tree, might we suggest some better-looking fake trees over at Canadian Tire. Like perhaps this one: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/noma-pre-lit-colour-changing-mariposa-christmas-tree-with-garland-6-5-ft-1518403p.html#srp
