Welcome to another Showcase Wednesday. This week we dive into the best stops to study at the Dalhousie University and The University of King's College. We have four great spots to study on both campuses that if you are ever in Halifax or studying at these universities, you should probably check out.

Top Four Stops to Study On Campus:

  1. The Dalhousie Student Union Building: Want to study, grab a snack and be in the center of the dal campus. Check out the Student Union Building. Explore the many restaurants like Tim Hortons, The Loaded Ladle or The Grawood. Need a fun and inviting space? Try hanging out in the many different areas of the building.

  2. The Galley: Cafe during the day and Bar by night. The Galley is the best place to grab a cup of coffee and study on King's campus. It's got the best vibe on campus, and if you stick around till the evening it turns into an awesome bar. Did I mention that it was student-run and the prices are cheap for a good cup of coffee or local beer?

  3. The Killiam Library: The Dalhousie University Studley campus's main library. This huge building offers the perfect quiet space to get that essay done two hours before it is due. It also has a cafe and subway to grab a bite to eat while you study for that exam coming up. You can also book spaces to study privately if you want a place away from distractions.

  4. University of King's College Library: Want a quiet place surrounded by artifacts with a museum vibe. The University of King's College is the place to be. This small beautifully designed library offers a quiet area to study, hang out with friends with trying to figure out what a dead philosopher said, this is the place to do it.
