Weekly Writing Prompts # 20

Time to dust off those old notebooks and grab a pencil for this week's Writing prompts. So sit back, grab your cup of coffee and start taking notes. This week's prompts are to help inspire some scary stories.

Eight Writing prompts to come up with the next great horror story:

1. I looked in the mirror, and I didn't see me.

2. Working alone one night, you begin to hear whispers coming from the boiler room.

3. A hunting trip went wrong.

4. " What did I tell you about killing people before I had my morning coffee?" ( For the people who like to write horror comedies)

5. Nightmares are coming to life, and somehow you are the only one who can see them.

6. You hear knocking at; first, you think it's coming from the door, but you listen again and hear it coming from the window.

7. There is a picture on your phone of you sleeping; the only thing is you live alone.

8. " Creepy flashing lights coming from the basement windows... that's some horror shit right there!"
