Writing Prompts

Time to dust off those old notebooks and grab a pencil for this week's Writing prompts. So sit back, grab your cup of coffee and start taking notes. This week's prompt is a seven-day writing challenge. This challenge consists of seven prompts for each day of the following week for you to write about.

Seven-day writing challenge:

Day One: Write about an unexpected event. Whether that even be real or made up is up to you.

Day Two: Look up your name's meaning and write either a poem or short story about why the meaning is what it is.

Day Three: Rewrite a classic fairytale, not a Disney fairytale but a much darker Grimm brothers original fairytale.

Day Four: Write a fictional character's biography as if they were real.

Day Five: Write a poem about clouds.

Day Six: Write a postcard story about a family photo you have.

Day Seven: Write a journal entry about your experience with this challenge.
